We take great care of your storytellers.
Our interviewers are trained in the StoryFind Process from Kristin Sukraw's bestselling book. It does two things: it helps a person feel safe enough to tell the true story in a way that honors them, and it finds the thread that connects their story to your mission.
When you need expert interviewers to draw out your most meaningful stories with empathy, curiosity, and care, StoryFind is there.
Why you’re not in the room
We interview without anyone from your organization present. When a boss, program staff, or a donor-relations officer is watching, storytellers tell the edited version of their story. Alone with a trained StoryFinder, they open up. You get every recording afterward, and nothing is used without the storyteller's informed consent.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

About three-five hours total.

We decide together in the planning session. Usually a mix of clients/beneficiaries, volunteers, staff, and donors.

Consent before and after every interview, on the recording. No staff in the room. Every Profile records exactly what the storyteller agreed to, and anything sensitive is flagged before a word is written.

Great! Many clients hire Discovery alone and hand the Profiles to their team. It’s a great way to equip your technical team with great stories.

The first three steps, with the stories written from the discovery interviews. The on-camera interview is what we add for film, and your ranked Profiles say which stories have earned it.

No. We hand you the story, told well, with the quotes and the mission thread already drawn out. Your team shapes it for each channel. The Profile does the heavy lifting!

Not a produced one. You receive the full remote video recordings and transcripts of all six interviews. If you want a story taken to film, that's a separate project, and your ranked Profiles will tell you which stories have earned it.
